The Legacy: How Space Exploration and Family Launched a Brand
The soul of Richie Deluna was ignited decades ago, long before it became a brand. It begins in the 1950s, with Chris’s grandfather, a dedicated Grumman Aerospace employee whose work ethic and hunger to learn left a lasting impression. Though he didn’t design spacecraft, his role in procurement, parts, and quality control was critical in supporting the team behind the Apollo Lunar Module (LEM) —the very craft that carried astronauts to the surface of the Moon.
His commitment to excellence, curiosity, and craftsmanship planted the seeds for a legacy that now lives on through Richie Deluna —a brand built on purpose, innovation, and pride in the details.
